Big Book Sale

On Saturday July 3rd we're holding a big book sale at the Douglas Arms, Castle Douglas. Along with our sister company, Solway Books of Kirkcudbright, we'll be offering a huge selection of books for just 30p each for paperbacks and 50p each for hardbacks. Come along between 10 am and 4pm to grab yourself a bargain. A donation from the proceeds will be given to Galloway Netball Club Juniors.

On Sunday July 4th Solway Books will be taking part in the annual Galloway Children's Festival in Kirkcudbright by holding special storytelling sessions for the under sixes in the morning, in store. In the afternoon, there's something for older children and teenagers in the form of a Warhammer demonstration. Experienced battlers will be explaining how to play the table top battle game both in Fantasy and 40k.
